About the team and position We’re looking for a motivated and high-energy Senior Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst who will help provide financial support as well as accurate and timely management information to Carvana’s leadership team. Reporting to X, you will also be responsible for assisting the development and maintenance of the Financial Planning and Analysis process to collect, analyze, verify, and report financial information. This is a fully on-site position, Monday through Friday, at our corporate HQ in Tempe, Arizona. What you’ll be doing Develop and maintain forecast models as needed to support company planning. Confirm financial status by monitoring revenue and expenses; coordinate the collection, consolidation, and evaluation of financial data; present results to internal management. Drive operational initiatives to reduce and maintain costs based on financial reporting. Coordinate monthly forecasting activities; lead recurring discovery meetings with department leaders. Support the monthly business performance review process, in coordination with key business leaders. Create department-level reporting and support consolidated reports efforts. Construct internal management reporting and produce variance analysis support. Build headcount and personnel cost tracking and related models and forecasts. Establish trust with key business partners and other operational and financial stakeholders; establish yourself as a go-to financial partner for others in the company. Communicate, collaborate, and establish connections across various departments within the company. Independently manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities. Collaborate with others within the company, at all levels, to gain insight and vision; then work independently to provide reporting, tools and solutions. Maintain close partnerships with Accounting, Financial Reporting team, and department leaders. Generate other ad hoc reporting and analysis. What you should have/know 3+ years of experience in a corporate finance or consulting environment. BA/BS degree in finance, accounting or a related field. Strong financial modeling skills are a must, together with demonstrated capabilities in building financial forecasts. Strong communication (written and oral), presentation and interpersonal skills. Advanced Excel modeling and PowerPoint skills. Strong system skills with preference towards Oracle, Workday and Tableau. Proficiency with SQL. Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail. Self-starter with strong analytical abilities and highly motivated to learn quickly. Ability to collaborate among multiple business units. Analytical mindset with ability to present data in a structured and informative way. Professional and accountable work ethic. Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize tasks and work within deadlines with little supervision. Don't Meet 100% of the Qualifications?
