Founding BDR/SDR

ABOUT THE ROLE

As the founding BDR/SDR, you will build the outbound pipeline generation function for an enterprise-focused Voice AI company in Berlin. You will work closely with an Account Executive to create meaningful conversations with enterprise buyers and establish a repeatable outbound motion.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Research high-potential enterprise accounts and map decision-makers across AI, customer service, IT, product, engineering, and innovation teams.

• Build personalized outbound campaigns across phone, LinkedIn, email, events, and other relevant channels.

• Call senior enterprise buyers and qualify opportunities against clear standards before passing them to the Account Executive.

• Follow up systematically on inbound leads and market signals to create new conversations.

• Identify event attendees, book meetings ahead of trade fairs, and follow up with prospects afterward.

• Maintain accurate records in HubSpot and document workflows and learnings for future team members.

• Test messaging, channels, and sequences regularly, measure results, and improve pipeline generation.

• Help hire, onboard, and develop future BDR team members as the function grows.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Native-level or bilingual German is required.

• Berlin-based or willing to relocate, with the ability to work on-site.

• Comfortable speaking by phone with senior enterprise buyers and persistent in outbound work.

• Curious about technical Voice AI products and able to learn through account research and buyer conversations.

• Organized and systems-minded, with an interest in building a function rather than following a finished playbook.

• Prior BDR/SDR experience is not required; candidates with a range of backgrounds are welcome.

• This role is focused on developing expertise in business development, rather than moving quickly into an Account Executive position.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Base salary range: $60,000 to $120,000 USD annually. Visa sponsorship is not available.

LOCATION

On-site in Berlin, Germany.
