Senior Founding Product Engineer

ABOUT THE ROLE

Join an early-stage product and engineering team building AI-enabled regulatory and product compliance software for manufacturers and retailers. You will own the software, AI, and infrastructure stack end to end, helping turn product priorities into useful features and shaping what the team builds through direct customer conversations.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Build and maintain the product across frontend, backend, and cloud infrastructure.

• Translate roadmap priorities into shipped features that address real user needs.

• Talk directly with customers to understand their challenges and inform product direction.

• Refactor and scale the codebase as the product and team grow.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• At least 3 years of full-time software engineering experience, with a track record of shipping products to real users.

• Strong product sense, a user-focused approach, and the ability to find solutions that work across customer needs.

• Proficiency with TypeScript, React, Python, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, Supabase, Azure, and Google Cloud.

• Experience in early-stage startups and comfort with ambiguity and rapid iteration.

• An AI-native approach, including regular use of AI agents and tools in your workflow.

• Fluency in German and English; experience in B2B SaaS, LegalTech, RegTech, or AI/ML is a plus.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Salary range: €80,000 to €90,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is not available.

LOCATION

Hybrid in Munich, Germany, with an expectation to work on-site four days per week.
