Staff Fullstack Engineer

ABOUT THE ROLE

Join an engineering team building an AI-focused financial planning and analysis platform. In this staff-level role, you will shape platform architecture, own critical product features, and help establish the engineering practices needed to scale.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Partner with company leadership and cross-functional teammates to prioritize and deliver the product roadmap.

• Design, build, and own complex product features and software components.

• Write robust, scalable, well-tested code for production systems.

• Establish engineering practices that support a high-performing team and healthy technical culture.

• Work with design and operations teammates to improve the product.

• Provide technical leadership through architecture ownership, mentorship, and support for other engineers.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• At least 8 years of software engineering experience, including 3 or more years contributing to system design or architecture.

• Strong full-stack experience building production features with TypeScript or JavaScript, React, and Node.js.

• Experience designing, deploying, and operating scalable services on Google Cloud Platform, including BigQuery.

• Experience modeling, querying, and optimizing MongoDB schemas for performance at scale.

• A strong testing practice across unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.

• Experience shipping core product functionality and partnering with executives and cross-functional teams on strategy and delivery.

• Staff-level technical leadership skills, including mentoring and improving engineering effectiveness.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Annual salary range: $185,000 to $240,000 USD. Visa sponsorship is available.
