As Senior Counsel, Real Estate Development , you will serve as a key legal partner supporting the development and expansion of hyperscale digital infrastructure projects across the United States. About the Role Reporting to the Director, Managing Associate General Counsel, Real Estate Development, you will support complex real estate development, construction, and infrastructure transactions across the company’s expanding global data center portfolio. You will partner closely with stakeholders across Development, Construction, Data Center Operations, Finance, Tax, and Procurement to advance large-scale infrastructure projects in a rapidly scaling environment. Your day-to-day will include advising on commercial real estate transactions, real property due diligence, construction and infrastructure agreements, professional services agreements, permitting and entitlement matters, transaction execution, and construction risk management. In this role, you will: Provide legal support across all phases of commercial real estate development and infrastructure projects, from site acquisition through construction and operational delivery. Draft, review, and negotiate commercial real estate agreements, including purchase and sale agreements, development agreements, and site control documentation. Draft, review, and negotiate construction and infrastructure agreements, including design and engineering agreements, construction management agreements, and contractor agreements. Advise on zoning, permitting, entitlement, land use, utility, and other regulatory matters impacting infrastructure development projects. Support transaction execution, due diligence, and closing processes across complex real estate and infrastructure matters. Advise on construction risk allocation, delays, claims management, indemnities, warranties, and dispute resolution matters. Partner cross-functionally with Development, Power, Operations, Finance, Tax, Procurement, and external stakeholders to support infrastructure deployment and business objectives. Manage outside counsel while balancing legal risk and commercial priorities. Help develop scalable legal templates, playbooks, and contracting processes to support CoreWeave’s continued growth. Who You Are: J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school and active admission to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction. 7+ years of relevant legal experience supporting commercial real estate development, construction, and infrastructure transactions. Demonstrated experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex commercial real estate agreements and construction-related agreements. Experience managing title, survey, zoning, land use, permitting, utility, entitlement, and related regulatory matters. Experience leading real estate due diligence processes and transaction closings. Experience advising on construction risk allocation, claims management, indemnities, warranties, and dispute resolution matters. Ability to manage outside counsel and balance legal risk with commercial business objectives. Experience collaborating cross-functionally with development, finance, operations, tax, and procurement teams. Strong judgment, communication skills, and ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment. Preferred: Experience supporting data center, digital infrastructure, energy, or other large-scale industrial development projects. Experience drafting and negotiating construction contracts and professional services agreements Experience supporting joint venture or strategic infrastructure transactions. In-house legal experience at a technology, infrastructure, or high-growth company. Experience building legal templates, playbooks, and scalable contracting processes. The starting salary will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. We strive for both market alignment and internal equity when determining compensation. In addition to base salary, our total rewards package includes a discretionary bonus, equity awards, and a comprehensive benefits program (all based on eligibility).
