Data Engineer (Contract & Full-Time, All Levels)

About the role

ElectricMind is hiring several Data Engineers across all experience levels. We're looking for engineers who take real ownership of their work, from design through delivery, and who have a strong technical foundation. You'll build and maintain the data pipelines, models, and infrastructure that teams rely on to make decisions.

What you'll do

• Design, build, and maintain reliable, scalable data pipelines
• Develop and manage data models that support analytics and reporting
• Orchestrate workflows and keep data moving on time and accurately
• Work with cloud infrastructure and data warehouse platforms
• Own your projects end to end: scope the work, make sound technical decisions, and see them through
• Partner with stakeholders to understand data needs and turn them into solutions

What we're looking for

• Strong SQL and Python skills
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and data warehousing (e.g., Snowflake)
• Hands-on experience with data orchestration and data modeling
• A sense of ownership and accountability for the quality of your work
• Clear communication and the ability to work independently or as part of a team

Nice to have

• Experience with orchestration tools such as Airflow, Dagster, or Prefect
• Familiarity with dbt or similar transformation frameworks
• Experience with data quality, testing, and monitoring practices
