THE ROLE

Legora is building the benefits infrastructure to support a fast-scaling, globally distributed company. We're looking for a Benefits Analyst to be the analytical and administrative backbone of our benefits function: someone who keeps enrollment data accurate, catches billing discrepancies before they become problems, and gives employees clear answers to their benefits questions. You'll report to the Senior Manager, Global Benefits and support day-to-day benefits administration across the US, with growing exposure to our international programs as the function scales.

This is a hands-on seat for someone early in their benefits career who wants real ownership. You'll help build the processes, not just run them.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Administer day-to-day benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, FSA/HSA, and voluntary benefits, covering enrollments, qualifying life event changes, and terminations

• Serve as a primary point of contact for employee benefits questions, resolving issues with accuracy and care

• Support open enrollment end to end, from system configuration and testing through employee communications

• Support leave of absence administration (FMLA, statutory leave, disability, parental leave), keeping cases moving with empathy and compliance

• Reconcile benefits billing and carrier invoices monthly, auditing for discrepancies and reporting cost trends

• Maintain benefits data accuracy in our HRIS, including routine audits and resolving data issues with carriers

• Build and maintain SOPs, benefits guides, and employee communications so people understand and use what Legora offers

• Support compliance work across ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, and international statutory requirements as the program expands

• Partner with Payroll, Finance, and People Business Partners on cross-functional benefits questions and escalations

• Support the regional Senior Manager, Total Rewards and Total Rewards Analyst with benefits administration outside the US as needed

WHAT YOU BRING

• 2-4+ years of experience in benefits administration or a related HR/analytical function

• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas)

• Working knowledge of US benefits compliance (ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA)

• Experience with HRIS platforms and benefits administration systems, including system testing and configuration support

• Strong attention to detail and follow-through, especially when reconciling data across systems and vendors

• Clear, empathetic communicator, comfortable helping employees through sensitive or complex benefits questions

• Comfort operating in a fast-paced, still-forming environment where the processes themselves are still being built

• Experience with modern HRIS platforms (e.g., HiBob, or similar) and using data to guide plan decisions

• Knowledge working with Human Resources Outsourcing (HRO) providers is a plus

• Exposure to international or multi-country benefits programs is a plus

This role reports directly to Legora's Senior Manager, Global Benefits.
