Founding Engineer (Full Stack)

ABOUT THE ROLE

Join an early-stage engineering team building AI-powered tools for the construction industry. As a Founding Engineer, you will create customer-facing product experiences that help users understand blueprint analysis and make faster, more informed decisions about construction projects.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Build intuitive interfaces that present computer vision model outputs to end users.

• Work on complex geometries, streaming systems, and sophisticated user interactions.

• Ship prototypes quickly, gather feedback from users, and refine the product based on what you learn.

• Contribute across the stack as the team develops and improves its product.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Strong React and TypeScript skills, with the ability to contribute across the full stack.

• Proficiency in Python and an ability to solve open-ended, math-oriented problems.

• Experience taking a product from concept to launch and iterating on customer feedback; exceptional new graduates with strong projects are also encouraged to apply.

• Solid computer science fundamentals or a project portfolio that demonstrates equivalent ability.

• Clear, empathetic, and honest communication, and genuine motivation to help make housing more affordable.

• US citizenship is required. Startup, founder, construction, real estate, PDF workflow, and Tailwind CSS experience are helpful.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Annual salary: $100,000 to $180,000 USD. Visa sponsorship is not available.

LOCATION

On-site in San Francisco, California, five days per week.
