Founding Product Engineer

ABOUT THE ROLE

Join the engineering team at a seed-stage AI communications SaaS company as a Founding Product Engineer. You will own product features from discovery through production, helping build an AI phone assistant for businesses across Europe.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Take features from initial hypotheses and prototypes through implementation, release, and iteration.

• Work closely with customers, partners, and Sales to identify meaningful problems and validate potential solutions.

• Design and implement product tracking, then use relevant metrics to guide decisions.

• Build across the stack and make architecture choices that balance fast learning with long-term scalability.

• Develop lightweight experiments and prototypes before committing to larger builds.

• Drive initiatives forward with ownership and a pragmatic, customer-focused approach.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• At least three years of product engineering experience delivering features end to end.

• Hands-on experience in a startup engineering environment.

• Full-stack experience with Node.js, TypeScript, NestJS, and React.

• Experience owning software from architecture and implementation through production release.

• German proficiency at B2 level or above, and fluent English for team and product communication.

• A strong product mindset, comfort using metrics, and a focus on customer value.

• Experience integrating large language models or building AI-powered features is an advantage.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Compensation is €80,000 to €120,000 annually, plus equity. Visa sponsorship is not available.

LOCATION

Remote, with Germany as the primary location. Candidates should be able to overlap with Central European Time.
