Senior Founding Product Engineer

ABOUT THE ROLE

Join the product and engineering team as a Senior Founding Product Engineer, owning software, AI, and infrastructure from end to end. You will turn product priorities into useful features and help shape an AI-powered regulatory compliance platform for manufacturers and retailers across Europe.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Build and maintain the product across frontend, backend, and cloud infrastructure.

• Translate roadmap priorities into shipped features that deliver value to users.

• Talk directly with customers to understand their needs and inform product direction.

• Refactor and scale the codebase as the product and team grow.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• At least 3 years of full-time software engineering experience, including work at an early-stage startup and a track record of shipping products to real users.

• Production experience as a full-stack engineer with TypeScript, React, and Python.

• Familiarity with FastAPI, PostgreSQL, Supabase, Azure, and Google Cloud.

• Strong product sense, a user-focused approach, and comfort with ambiguity and rapid iteration.

• Regular use of AI agents and tools in your engineering workflow.

• Fluency in German and English; experience in B2B SaaS, legal technology, regulatory technology, or AI and machine learning is beneficial.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Base salary is €80,000 to €90,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is not available.

LOCATION

Hybrid in Munich, Germany, with four days per week on-site.
