Capture Manager

Uforce

United States | Remote

About this role

UFORCE exists to make aggression unaffordable.

Founded in Ukraine and headquartered in London, UFORCE is a defence-technology company with operations across Europe, the United States and Asia.

UFORCE builds uncrewed vessels, ground robotics and aircraft, autonomy software, and the command-and-control layer that operates them together. Each platform is deployable on its own, and stronger as part of the system. Its product lines include the MAGURA family of uncrewed surface vessels, the NEMESIS family of strike platforms, the LIUT family of ground robotic platforms, and counter-UAS systems.

ABOUT THE ROLE

UFORCE is looking for a Capture Manager to lead cross-functional teams through complex U.S. Government solicitations—from capture strategy and bid/no-bid decisions through proposal development, submission, and delivery handoff.

You’ll combine disciplined capture and proposal management with AI-enabled workflows to help lean teams produce compelling, compliant responses at speed. Working under the direction of the US Head of Capture, you’ll build a repeatable operating system that scales effort to each opportunity’s value and complexity, strengthens win probability, and ensures what we propose is executable after award.

This is a hands-on role for someone who can bring structure to fast-moving pursuits, align technical and commercial stakeholders, and improve how we quote, respond to requests for information, and capture and reuse proposal knowledge.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Lead complex government responses end-to-end. Coordinate responses to requests for proposals and information, broad agency announcements, and Other Transaction Authority opportunities, including prime and subcontract pursuits. Target five or more large-scale, compliant, on-time proposal submissions in your first 18 months.
  • Build evidence-based pursuit strategies. Develop capture plans, customer-backed win themes, competitor assessments, teaming approaches, and price-to-win inputs. Support clear qualify, pursue, and propose gates and disciplined bid/no-bid decisions.
  • Improve win performance. Help the team work toward a 75% or greater win rate on opportunities formally approved for pursuit, using win/loss reviews to sharpen strategy and execution.
  • Drive rapid-turn proposal execution. Establish schedules, ownership, decision rights, review checkpoints, and escalation paths that enable end-to-end turnaround of seven days or less for rapid-turn solicitations.
  • Make compliance and traceability routine. Build requirements matrices, assign accountability for each requirement, define review-readiness standards, and maintain submission checklists to reduce preventable errors and late-stage surprises.
  • Apply AI responsibly. Implement AI-assisted drafting, compliance checking, and review workflows that improve first-draft quality and reduce rework, while retaining human ownership of strategy, compliance, and pricing decisions and protecting restricted information.
  • Create a scalable proposal system. Develop light, standard, and heavy proposal workflows with clear entry and exit criteria, matching effort to contract value and complexity.
  • Build reusable knowledge and supporting processes. Maintain proposal content, past performance, resumes, technical boilerplate, and win themes with clear ownership and refresh cycles. Help develop quoting, RFI intake and response, and data capture and storage processes.
  • Align the team around an executable offer. Coordinate business development, technical subject-matter experts, pricing, contracts, delivery, and partners so the proposed solution, cost, commitments, and post-award handoff stay aligned.

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Demonstrated experience leading complex U.S. Government capture and proposal efforts from pursuit strategy through compliant submission, with clear evidence of your contribution to wins.
  • Strong capture discipline, including evidence-based bid/no-bid gating, customer-focused win themes, competitor analysis, teaming strategy, and price-to-win inputs.
  • Ability to translate solicitation requirements and evaluation criteria into a compelling proposal narrative, clear workplan, and requirements traceability.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams, subject-matter experts, and external partners without relying on direct reporting authority.
  • Proven ability to manage rapid-turn responses with clear schedules, responsibilities, version control, review standards, and calm decision-making under pressure.
  • Working knowledge of federal acquisition and proposal compliance, including FAR/DFARS considerations, organizational conflicts of interest, and ethical boundaries.
  • Sound judgment in aligning technical scope, pricing, and delivery commitments so proposals remain executable after award.
  • Practical understanding of AI-assisted drafting and review, including how to validate outputs, retain human accountability, and protect sensitive or restricted information.
  • Strong process-building skills, with the ability to create reusable assets, right-size effort to opportunity complexity, and improve performance through measurable feedback.

NICE TO HAVE

  • Experience applying Shipley-style capture and proposal methods in a lean, fast-moving team.
  • Experience across multiple solicitation and acquisition pathways, including RFPs, RFIs, BAAs, and OTAs.
  • Experience managing both prime proposals and substantial subcontract responses.
  • Experience building AI-enabled proposal workflows, shared prompt libraries, or automated review checklists with appropriate security controls.
  • Experience developing quoting processes, structured RFI workflows, or searchable proposal content and knowledge libraries.

The nature of combat has changed.

Tomorrow’s battlefield success depends on autonomy, speed, and adaptability.

And UFORCE is ready.
